Conrad "Corn Dog" Vernon began playing clarinet in 1964. He later migrated to alto saxaphone. His music spans funk, jazz, soul and top 40s genres. He was given the name "Corn Dog" from his musician friends 'cause he puts a lot of mustard on it!
